Satpara Lake

Satpara Lake is Skardu Valley’s main lake, supplying water for Skardu town and reputedly one of the most picturesque lakes in Pakistan. In 2002, the Government of Pakistan decided to build a dam on the Satpara Lake.

Lake Saiful Malook

Saiful Muluk has a touch of the unreal about it, nestling 3,200 metres high in the shadow of the Malika Parbat (Queen of the mountains) 5,291 metres high. You can go boating on the lake and hear the local legend about Prince Saiful Muluk who fell in love with a fairy.
Further up are quaint woodland villages; Battakundi, Burawai, Besal Gittidas and Lalazar

Kawai

13 miles away from Balakot to Kaghan is Kawai in these 13 miles you'll reach the altitude of 4000 feet starting from 3000 feet which means that you have covered 1000 feet of altitude in just 13 miles. The main place here to visit is Shogran.

Wadi e Swat

Swat is a valley which has gone through many rulers such as Alexander the great, Mahmud of Ghazni, the Chinese pilgrim, Fa-Hsien,Sun Yun,Hsuan-Tsang and Wu-Kung and civilizations, whose traces can be found here and there. It has seen the Buddhist , the Ghandara, the Hindu dynasty, and the Muslim rule as well.

The people of Swat are mainly Gujars ,Pashtuns and Kohistanis. The people claim them selves to be the descendants of the army of Alexander the Great.The religion followed is Islam and people understand the national language as well along with the local languages.The valley  is located at a distance of 160 km from the federal capital Islamabad.It forms the upper valley of the river Swat (hence the name) and goes up to the Hindu Kush mountain range.

Pharwala Fort

This fort is about 40 km from Rawalpindi beyond Lehtrar road. A Gakkhar ruler, Sultan Kai Gohar, on the ruins of a 10th century Hindi Shahi Fort built it in 15th century. Emperor Babar conquered the fort in 1519 AD. Later in 1825. Sikhs expelled Gakkhars from this fort.  the fort is in a crumbling state. The fort, being situated in prohibited area.

Misriot dam is located 12 km south-west of Rawalpindi. This small dam has an artificial lake with boating and fishing facilities. of black rocks.

Masjid Wazir Khan

The Wazir Khan Mosque in Lahore, Pakistan, is famous for its extensive faience tile work. It was built in seven years, starting around 1634-1635 A.D., during the reign of the Mughal Emperor Shah Jehan. It was built by Shaikh Ilmuddin Ansari, a native of Chiniot, who rose to be the court physician to Shah Jahan and later.The mosque is located inside the Inner City and is easiest accessed from Delhi Gate.
